Rehabilitative Therapy for People with Parkinson’s
LSVT Workshops
LSVT® Training and Certification Workshops are two-day programs designed to train rehabilitation therapists (speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists) an evidence-based treatment technique for people with Parkinson disease with application to other neural conditions.
The fundamentals underlying key treatment elements, efficacy data supporting treatment outcomes, details of treatment tasks, including hands-on practice, and practical considerations are taught. These training workshops are offered for 12 contact hours of continuing education.
» Which level do I register for?
Register at the Professional level if:
- You are a speech clinician (speech language pathologist, speech therapist), physical or occupational therapist
Register at the Graduate Student level if:
- You are a graduate student currently enrolled in a speech therapy/physical or occupational therapy program
- You are a speech therapy assistant or a physical therapy/occupational therapy assistant*
Register at the Previously Certified LSVT clinician level if:
- You have previously been certified by LSVT Global to administer LSVT LOUD or LSVT BIG
*If you are a PT/OT/speech assistant, register as a Graduate Student. Consistent with your professional credential, you must ALWAYS administer LSVT under the supervision of an LSVT LOUD or LSVT BIG physical therapist, occupational therapist or speech therapist
