Clinician Referral Database
LSVT Global, Inc. is committed to maintaining the highest standard of clinical excellence for all patients receiving LSVT therapies - LSVT LOUD (speech therapy) or LSVT BIG (physical/occupational therapy). All LSVT Certified Clinicians in our database complete a full two-day LSVT Training and Certification Workshop in their respective discipline before becoming certified to deliver the LSVT research-based treatments to patients. All LSVT Certified Clinicians listed in our database are professional speech-language clinicians (LSVT LOUD), or physical or occupational therapists (LSVT BIG). LSVT Mini-Symposiums for Patients with PD
LSVT Global also strives to provide patients with Parkinson disease and other neurological disorders and their loved ones with educational information related to voice, speech, and motor deficits as well as treatment choices to address these deficits. LSVT Global offers free lectures on these deficits and treatment options as well as interactive sessions with clinicians-in-training during the certification and training workshops. LSVT Webinars for Patients with PD
In 2012, LSVT Global launched a Webinar series for patients with Parkinson disease. Our goal is to have a minimum of four Webinars per year to provide general information on LSVT therapies for people with Parkinson disease as well as other special interest topics, such as LSVT and deep brain stimulation surgery.
LSVT Products
In addition to our LSVT therapies, LSVT Global has created a suite of products for patients to use before, during, and after treatment. These products include a LSVT LOUD Homework Helper DVD which guides the viewer through a series of exercises designed to maintain improvements in speech following delivery of LSVT LOUD. The LSVT Companion ® System, Home Edition helps individuals practice their LOUD voice exercises at home during and after treatment with an LSVT LOUD Certified Clinician. Using a Clinician Edition of the LSVT Companion System, your speech-language clinician personalizes your speech exercises and sets goals for you by defining target performance levels and number of repetitions for each LSVT LOUD voice exercise.
